Explore Little Ash ViewLittle Ash Farm is a spacious residential home, set back from the road in semi-rural Werrington. Shared living areas give children places to spend time together, with room to have their own space when they need it. We provide care for children with emotional and behavioural needs, with each placement considered alongside the children already living here.

Little Ash Farm provides residential care for children with emotional and behavioural needs. Our experience has primarily been with girls aged 12–16, including those who have needed more intensive support as their needs have changed.
Every referral is assessed individually. We consider whether our team can meet the child’s needs and how the placement would work alongside the children already living in the home.
Discuss a placement
We are developing Little Ash View as a smaller residential home for children with emotional and behavioural needs. Its more compact layout offers scope for closer day-to-day support, within a residential neighbourhood in Werrington.
The home has its own garden, with playing fields and an outdoor basketball court behind the property. Children will have opportunities to spend time outside and take part in local activities, with support suited to their needs.

Little Ash View is being developed for children with emotional and behavioural needs. Its smaller setting is intended to offer more closely supported day-to-day care, shaped around the child.
Every referral will be assessed individually. We will consider whether our team and the home’s setting can meet the child’s needs, including whether a shared placement would be suitable. Opening and placements are subject to Ofsted registration.
Discuss a future placementOur planned approach centres on consistent relationships with the adults caring for each child. We will support children with everyday routines and education, helping them build confidence and become more independent at a pace that suits them.
We will work with placing authorities and the professionals involved in each child’s care, using agreed guidance to inform their day-to-day support.
Set in semi-rural Werrington, Staffordshire, children have countryside close by without being far from local services. Nearby Stoke-on-Trent offers a wider choice of activities and places to visit.
The village has local shops, a community library and playing fields. Staff support children to get to know the area and take part in community life as their confidence grows.
Further afield, there are opportunities for days out at Trentham Gardens, Waterworld or Alton Towers, as well as visits to the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Hanley.
What children choose to do will depend on their interests and the support they need. We encourage them to try things, while making room for familiar favourites.

United Children is developing its residential provision in Staffordshire, building on the experience of Little Ash Farm.
We want to grow carefully, opening homes where there is a clear need and where we can provide good care. Each new home must have the right team behind it, with the support needed to maintain high standards as we grow.
If you’re considering Little Ash Farm or a future placement at Little Ash View, we’d welcome a conversation about the child’s needs and whether we can offer the right care.
